June 21, 2012: Presentation to Fred Darvish and MPP Peter Shurman

On June 21, 2012, Dr. Paulo Correa and Dr. Gila Martow met with Fred Darvish, the President of Liberty Development Corporation (which owns the lands for the planned Concord Floral residential development and Concord Corporate Center) and MPP Peter Shurman. and gave a presentation of the community’s proposed “win-win” solution to the problem of the location of the intermodal transportation hub – a solution which would locate the hub on the north side of Highway 7, where it naturally belongs and where it could best serve the needs of those two new developments which are the hub’s intended main clients.  A flash version of this presentation (which advances the slides at a fixed 20-second rate) can be viewed below; we have also made available a PDF version.
